Hot, stifling working conditions have bad effect on productivity. During  summer months, it's not uncommon for temperatures to top 95°F in some big plants. Unfortunately, keeping large open spaces, such as factories and warehouses, at a comfortable temperature is a big challenge. High ceilings, heat generating motors and furnaces, and poor ventilation often work together to keep industrial spaces hot and muggy. Ventilation systems, which are primarily designed to supply clean,fresh air, seldom generate enough circulation within a large workspace to provide a cool breeze. The energy bill of air conditioning  in these buildings are too high.
